I had just returned home from a trip to LA. My first order of business was to unpack (I am a Virgo!) and get cozy in my fav robe. Then I picked up the phone to hear Angela’s excited message, “Ellen you must be sure to watch Raquel on Oprah. She was talking about PM&M!” All I could think of was, “Raquel Welch was talking about what??????”

I was transfixed to my TV (thank you DVR) and listened to every word. Raquel talked about how she hit a wall at 50. She didn’t know who she was. Wow!

Thank you Raquel for your bold honesty!!! It was so refreshing and comforting to confirm that this is a universal issue – something even glamorous sex symbols deal with! Of course, she is not alone.

The more we talk about it, the more prepared we can be, and the more support we can receive.
