Military Spouse Appreciation Day: I’m speaking to military families about women’s health issues on Friday at the Naval Base San Diego in California. Military spouses are the warriors who stay at home as their loved ones fight to protect our freedoms. They deserve our gratitude and also commitment to help them live long, healthy lives so they can continue to be the backbone of their families. I will be giving out to all a free copy of my book, Shmirshky: think inside the box, so they can bring home this information. Thanks to They Serve 2, a non-profit dedicated to supporting military families, I am able to donate thousands of books to spouses of servicemen, servicewomen and civilians supporting the military.
