On Valentine’s Day we generally think of all the people we love and try to figure out how to celebrate that love. Are you on the top of your own Valentine’s Day list?
Many shmirshkies get really creative! We come up with all kinds of elaborate ways to “dress” the shmirshky. It is our own special private Valentine’s card. In the prehistoric days, when the bush was just groomed and not lasered, we had lots of material to dye, hang hearts on or shape into a valentine. The waxing salons were busy shaping and raking. Some shmirshkies attempted to do their own valentines grooming with a razor. It was cute for that night, but then those shmirshkies had to stay home for awhile as you would see them out inappropriately scratching and itching. Today, for many, the bush is obsolete—- I suggest a red bow and some double stick tape.
Regardless, the best gift to yourself and those that love you is to make sure you are a healthy shmirshky! That’s a wrap!
