Menopause News Flash: research, news and information

Women carrying BRCA mutations – the “cancer gene” – tied to breast and ovarian cancer may hit menopause a few years earlier than other women, according to a new study.

Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the manufacturer of Vivelle-Dot® (estradiol transdermal system), today announced the availability of a smaller patch called, Minivelle™ (estradiol transdermal system) by prescription in U.S. pharmacies.

research study by behavioral neuroscientists at the University at Buffalo offers new information about how ovarian hormones, in particular the powerful estrogen estradiol, help to regulate eating and drinking behaviors.

New research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation on infertility.
