Ellen’s “Put Yourself on Your Own To Do List” was featured on WeHelpWomen.com.

Don’t miss last week’s “Menopause Mondays: Ellen’s 5 Steps to Hormone Happiness, Step 2: Find A Menopause Specialist” as featured on Huffington PostFabulously 40SocialMomsVibrant NationMenopause Chit ChatThe Boomer Blogs. You may wish your doctor looked like George Clooney or Sofía Vergara, but there are other, significantly more important qualities that your perimenopause and menopause specialist should possess. Ellen tells you how to find a specialist who will be your partner in your quest for hormone happiness.

After struggling with her own severe menopause symptoms and doing years of research, Ellen resolved to share what she learned from experts and her own trial and error. Her goal was to replace the confusion, embarrassment, and symptoms millions of women go through–before, during, and after menopause–with the medically sound solutions she discovered. Her passion to become a “sister” and confidant to all women fueled Ellen’s first book, Shmirshky: the pursuit of hormone happiness. As a result of the overwhelming response from her burgeoning audiences and followers’ requests for empowering information they could trust, Ellen’s weekly blog, Menopause MondaysTM, was born.

If it weren’t for Shmirshky, I would have gone crazy trying to figure out why it hurt so badly when having intercourse. I went to my Gynocologist and she immediately gave me the ESTRING.
It worked after a few weeks but I still was having some pain. She told me to use some estrogen cream with the ring. Voila! It was like heaven. My only question now is how do I get the desire for sex back. Sort of like when your in your 20’s…is it even possible???? Is it 100% mental? Please help. xoxo
