Menopause Mondays: Let’s Go Streaking

When was the last time you went naked?

Take a shower, put on a great outfit, and go out without makeup….that’s right, a naked face!  No lipstick, no cover up, just your birthday suit…or should I say birthday mask.

Can you do it?

Kathie Lee and Hoda did it on national TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these gals!

My mother always taught me that beauty comes from within.  Moms are usually right, it just sometimes takes awhile for the children to catch on. I am 57 years old, and I think I finally understand what she was trying to teach me.  Better late than never!

When you feel good about yourself, you feel pretty! At first, Kathie Lee and Hoda were both a bit self-conscious about being naked, however, very quickly, their smiles, humor, and confidence came back in full force. They were fabulous!

Trust me, I am not throwing out my makeup, But I am going to wash my makeup brushes and give them a rest for the day, today, I will be streaking through the streets of Coronado! (That’s me naked in the photo!)

Want to go streaking with me?

  1. I’ve been “Streaking” for about 18 years now. My 3 teen girls will only wear eyeliner. I taught them that school is not a beauty contest it is for educating and now they have actually got some of their friends not wearing makeup either. They are finding out that some boys don’t like the “Barbie” look and that they can get ready for school in way less time.
