As a shmirshky going through perimenopause, I’ve spent many days battling with the sumo wrestler in my head. You know the big guys that wear the loincloths and try to push each other over? Menopause and weight gain can make your sumo’s voice seem louder than ever – this guy loves to keep telling me that I’m getting old and wrinkled and that I’m not sexy anymore. Well, I’m not listening anymore!

In this Menopause Monday music video, a hilarious parody of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies,” Anita Renfroe is standing up for all us shmirshkies out there! And these ladies are amazing, sporting some seriously sexy high heels and dancing around in that legendary black leotard! Go shmirshkies, go!
