shmirshky dialogues & shopping – great combo! - Ellen Dolgen

shmirshky dialogues & shopping – great combo!

A big thank you to Be Styled at 1113 Adella Avenue in Coronado, California.   What a glorious Saturday afternoon…talking PM&M surrounded by fun, fabulous clothes (with amazing prices!), mini orange cupcakes, wine, flowers, the beach breeze and the energy of Be Styled!    I didn’t want to leave.

The common shmirshky theme:    most shmirshkies in PM&M can’t sleep, can’t think clearly, are gaining weight, having uncontrollable mood swings, sudden onsets of a low libido, and various forms of hot flashes!  They are embarrassed to talk about it, so instead they are suffering in silence.

With a few cocktails and a little shopping….some of these fears slipped away and the dialoging was open and honest.   One by one, everyone began sharing stories.   We even talked about the biggest secret of all:  the parched shmirshky!

When asked, “Have you talked to your doctor about ALL of these symptoms?”  The common answer was “not really.”

If your children, mother, father or partner didn’t feel well would you take them to the doctor to find out how to help them?  Would you tell the doctor about ALL the symptoms they were experiencing?  If they didn’t get better would you go back to the doctor and find out why they were not better?  Need I say more?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shmirshkies put yourself on the top of your “to do” list!!!

Consider Shmirshky: think inside the box as your PM&M cliff notes – take two hours to educate and empower yourself so that you can get the support and help you need!

You are NOT alone!

Remember:  Reaching out is IN!  Suffering in silence is OUT!!!
