always talk to strangers….

I went to Phoenix yesterday to attend a Florence Crittenden Event. This is an amazing organization. They provide new beginnings, safety, hope and opportunity for young girls in crisis. There were over 900 people in attendance- both men and women.

One woman in particular, who is post menopausal, whispered that she felt much better except for that one department. I raised one eye brow and looked her in the eye and said, “I have a chapter all about that…it is called Sex in the Desert”. She winked back and said….”I am buying the book today!”
